apologies for the multiple posts

hence the title, considering one or the other - the difference between them is merely time and money
an implant can 100% be done in june/july, genioplasty would have to wait until december

heres some pictures to asses how bad the damage is. i personally think i need 7mm - 8mm, an implant should be able to give 7mm without looking shit
furthermore, im considering vertical lengthening to look more masculine and for a better lower third in general, lmk about this

if it helps im starting uni in september, anyone with a brain knows how important that is in context to looks lol

Implant then

Genio would be worth the wait gives much superior results than implants

In your case genio would be better, a three month wait isn't worth spending half a year's net earnings with suboptimal results

Implant then
wym "then"
i mean i hate seeing this abomination of a lower third but you can only do it right once i'd imagine. even if i go for an implant now, sometime down the road id make it permament

thanks for the response - chin wing osteotomy seems absolutely superior but i'd imagine the costs are way more.
whats your take on vertical lengthening (adding chin height) - i think i need it, it's just the projection casts a shadow on my chin, and it looks dented and sunken in

projection might really tie it all together but i wouldnt mind an mm or two of height, probably easier said than done

fairly sure it can be done with chin wing, you can make the gonions more everted as well
look into like fat loss in that area as well

Thought you wanted to look good before your uni starts, so getting an implant would be more suitable for you

You can wait for like 6 months for genio if you're not impatient and want better results

thanks for answering

regarding costs, i've never seen anyone in my country (UK) go over 8k,
was gonna go abroad and consult, should be no more than 6k (gbp)
an implant where im looking at should be no more than 1.5k

genioplasty is indeed superior though, i'm just an impatient fucker

yeah im in the middle of the bulk (since you mentioned fat loss)

chin wings ill look into but i doubt that'll be my choice. ive researched them before, not many surgeons do em, and they'll be way more expensive, they are superior though.

Implant

Keep in mind that almost none of these larpcels who always opt for the most invasive procedure, have ever had surgery.

thanks for ur input
do you think an implant is suitable for my goals? (7mm, vertical lengthening potentially)

i can get behind this - it can be fucking annoying when most people say "trimax bro"
Your chin atm is fine, your just trying to go from normal to aesthetic ideal. So yeah implants are fine for that.

The skill gap req to do the operations is huge. Virtually any surgeon can do a chin implant with very little risk and decent outcomes.

Meanwhile genioplasty isn't just a lot more risk but you also need a much more skilled surgeon to do it. So by the time you weight cost, time, risks, outcomes, risk of surgeon being underskilled. Implant is a clear winner in your case. It'll add both more with and more forward projection. You can always discuss getting one custom made with the surgeon if off the shelf won't work, but it probably will.

I've never had a surgical outcome, that did not have some kind of hiccup, complication, or something I wish was aesthetically better. The outcomes do not exist in a magical vacuum like imagination. So imo its unlikely in your case gino is going to get you meaningfully better results.

i mean is it normal? i'd argue its subpar at best

the rest of your response is insightful, thanks for the high iq response. i've never had anyone tell me this nor think about it like this.
that being said - i will go for in person consultations just to make a more informed decision, but both cards are on the table.

but if an implant will suffice, i guess that's how it is, an heuristic approach i'd argue is the best. unlikely here anyone will ever get a bimax although the term is thrown around

Need unfrauded side to tell

is that not unfrauded, its quite literally 90 degrees
90 degrees what nigga. It's heavily frauded with head tilting. Ear is supposed vertical. Fully relax and look at a point straight forward.
