I had custom implants placed (submalar / paranasal rather than true malar implants). And jaw I plants that were terrible
After a few weeks I decided to remove them because I didn’t like the aesthetic result.
They added volume too low and too medially, without improving cheekbone definition, and the effect wasn’t what I was aiming for.
The surgery and removal both went fine, but aesthetically it wasn’t a good match for my face, so I chose to reverse it.
Sometimes even custom implants don’t give the look you expect once you see them on your own face.
Should I have expected the bad result, given the planning?

Why don’t u get jaw surgery probably get a better result

why where the jaw implants terrible? i’ve been doing a lot of research on all the cases of bad jaw implants (including Giant). if you DM the before and after I might be able to give you some guidance about what the issue was with the design.

Half the posts in this thread just disappeared.

It’s over for all of us.

ofc the submalar implants aren't giving you the desired result

Do you think jaw implants are almost always a descension? I have a huge gonial angle and narrow jaw which i’d like to fix. I know i can get filler to cope with the jaw width but only a jaw implant can truly fix my gonial angle i believe
