My college is ending next summer so I have to get my skin on point before this . I need 2 months before my college ends to feel unmoggable

for me it lasted 1.5 months, i use the strongest tret 0.1%

Yeah but the skin has to get used to tretinoin and it may also get dry and flaky at first (roughly when the purge happens, too).
Not to mention that at first, people tend to apply way more tret than necessary, leading to even more dryness

just either go slow or buffer it with some moisturizer before applying tret (worked for me). My purge lasted like 2wks-1mnth and skin stung like fuck for at least an 1hr after applying anything on my face.

purging means you already have acne, but they are deep in your skin, they will reach the surface once skin regenerates. Tret speeds up skin regeneration, this will cause all the pimples go to the surface.

I would rather have all acne just pop at once and then be acne free, rather than having acne after acne for a few months.

Purging is good, your skin is cleaning itself
