improving confidence without hookups?

Prolly not the best place to post this, but I was watching a video and it was talking about exposure therapy. and how the more girls you talk to the easier it becomes to be more confident and care less about actual rejection. But he was talking about how you can use this to just get free sex and stuff like that. But the thing is im not really interested in having or talking to multiple women. I just want one girl that I can marry and I feel like playing games goes against my moral code. But what im trying to ask is: is cold approaching and just talking to lots of women still effective for my goal?

I mean, your chances of finding the one are higher if you talk to more people AND you get used to rejections, so you become progressively less worried about talking to the opposite gender. Doesn't have to be games, you can just think about it as having female friends. Sounds good, right?
Having lots of free sex isn't really a threat to you. Especially considering where you posted this.

Having the ability to talk to any girl and be charismatic is good and applicable to outside of dating. You also dont have to go for sex and whatnot going down this route might actually help you with that one girl
