Surprise surprise, they were actually the only developed country which did not have a birth rate below replacement levels, until very recently.
This is all bullshit. Self driving cars exist already - Level 3/4 automation will probably be there within a decade and they will be geofenced. But level 5 (a car which goes anywhere and doesn't even require anybody at the front seat) is practically impossible.
You've simply been caught up in the hype. Industry insiders have been shilling you this story since November 2023 and it's clearly working.
