But the tldr is there are 3 possible outcomes.

#1. Technology is suppressed and people have artificial jobs technology is kept on the back end.

#2 There is a substantial permanent NEET class that exists solely as disposable consumer class. Kept distracted with entertainment and the METAverse.

#3 The Elite engineer some way to lower the population with propaganda or artificial wars/diseases. And kill off a substantial number of people.

I think the 2nd is most likely but we will see... It also depends how much can be automated. I think for sure there will be a bottom underclass but just what percent will fall into this class? If its the bottom quarter of society not much will change just more general unrest. If its half or more then society will fall apart.
