In Lviv (Ukraine) a man held a sign that read: "Hugs if you lost loved ones in the war"

Artillery is crucial in modern warfare. Where are you getting this from? I just used artillery as an example of how Russians are mass outproducing the West.

Why wouldn’t they get rid of old obsolete stockpiles instead of letting them gather dust in the middle of a war?

No, they did not intend to invade an entire country of half a million square miles with just 200K men.

Why did Putin enter into negotiations within days of invading?

The Russians hoped a military presence in Kyiv would strong arm the Ukrainians into singing an agreement ceding Donbas and abandoning NATO aspirations. The gambit failed.
relative to actually being to move your troops around artillery is meaningless, you don't win wars by constantly shelling forests and abandoned buildings

200k of your most experienced troops is perfectly reasonable when you expected the government and nation to capitulate overnight, it worked fine for the americans in iraq

Artillery is crucial. Obviously, not alone. But let's ignore this.

Here's a table according to the European Defence Council showing that the Russian tank fleet has more than doubled, as have AFVs since 2022.

The Russians have only called up reservists while Ukraine has gone through multiple waves of conscription.
Putin is holding back but there's a good chance that won't hold back if a negotiated settlement is not agreed.

Iraq was a third world country no major military sponsors.

The country had been severely crippled by economic sanctions and militarily degraded for at least a decade in the run-up to 2003.

Operation Desert Storm in 1991 mass targeted civilian infrastructure, including power, water, and sewage treatment and killed an estimated 50K-100K civilians as well as effecitvely destroying the Iraqi airforce and the vast bulk of their armored divisons.

By 1999, economic sanctions had killed an estimated 2 million people.

Iraq only had 100K active military personnel and no effective airpower by the time of the invasion.
The American and coalition forces outnumbered them.

You can’t occupy a developed country of half a million square miles with 150K troops vs Ukraine's 200K.

think logically

it would make absolutely no sense at all to start a war and invasion with 0 intention to actually win in the long term

if you say their intention was never to fully conquer ukraine but to strong man them into surrendering then surely they would still invade with a larger military as a show of force..

instead they invade with what you consider an intentionally small army just to force negotiations

but if that were the case both ukraine and nato would have instantly figured out their “plan” as you put it and rejected any sort of negotiation

нацизм существует в обеих странах

ты можешь говорить о Азове, а я могу упомянуть Русич и нацистские элементы в Вагнере
it's not like Chechens aren't privileged nowdays in Russia

Putin gave them almost everything they tried to gain during the war

Who gets to decide what's reasonable and what's not? And not everyone would agree that it's Imperialism.
