Again, it depends on how bad your face was. If you were genuinely ugly, height won't help in most cases.

But when we talk in general terms, height benefits an average person more than face

But I've seen hltns and mtn's at school dating girls who were considered to be one of the most attractive ones in our grade

I'll try to not be bias since I'm short myself at 171 cm. I think what happens is you're more likely to see someone of taller stature than an attractive face since height is a more simple trait to inherit than the combination of traits you'd need for a good looking face. So in person you're mainly going to see average looking people, and obviously taller average looking people are going to edge out shorter/average height, average looking people. But when a person truly looks good facially, and assuming they're not embarrassingly short, I'd never see them short of a woman (no pun intended). I can't say the same about facially average or below average looking taller folks.
