In school the teacher would be conversating casually with students during class, & would get annoyed when I'd ask a question about the work

Teacher would be chatting with the normies, laughing and enjoying the lesson. Struggling with a part of the classwork, I would ask a question. Then the teacher would get all pissed off like I killed their whole vibe, and begrudgingly assist me with my work.

I don't get it, I am engaging with the classwork but not with their unrelated, casual conversation and I get punished for it. Wtf is this??

Some teachers take up the job to 'enjoy the company' of kids and connect with them. They could be childless, coping with lost youth, or have no friends. She was probably one of those teachers

I think many teachers are immature & shallow and enjoy partaking in/observing in high school social culture still. Like, they always love the jocks & often try and get involved and caught up on any class drama. Meanwhile they really don't gaf about the studious, meek children who just get on with the work, teachers see these types as boring.

Everyone hates the quiet kid, even though the quiet kid is just minding their business not looking to get in anyone's way. It makes them even more enraged when that quiet kid steps out of line.

Nothing gets normies as viciously hateful as seeing a quiet kid trying to be NT and fit in. They will immediately use all their might to mock them and tear them down.
