it is not reality for WALKABLE countries where governemnt can tell you to fuck off you can just walk if you are not made for the wheel.
in russia and in ee its a genuine mindfuck with complicated road situations where 1 mistake will cost you exam. if you are truly a good driver you can with first time ,but average guy can get fucked.
i had 40 minutes of driving and had to paralel park in the city with cars ,perpendicular park in the city with cars and go up in hill without stalling . in one go

im not saying that it is extra hard or impossible , almost everyone gets license eventually. but it is much harder
