Incel discussions all over university

Have any of you guys that go to university noticed how much talk there is about incels? I'm doing a shitty social science degree, so maybe that's why, but literally the students, professors and even school tasks talk about incels all the time. I feel like a spy whenever it's mentioned because I literally have .org up in another window, but have to act semi-clueless haha.

The term incel is thrown around a lot though without any concrete meaning behind it.

Norms can call someone incel for simply shit talking women even if that person gets pussy himself, is one example I can think of and heard before.
