Speaking 121 with people I have no issues. Conversation flows naturally. But speaking in a group an entire different story.
I just experienced this first hand moments ago.
We were in a group conversation on MS Teams and I was just waiting on the sidelines for what felt like hours while people were having back-and-forth conversations in a virtual chat. As soon as I am ready to make my interjection everyone is about to say bye and the call is about to close I say "just to come in
.." everyone ignores me (I suspect a couple of people heard) but just decided to hang up.
