from grades 1-5th, I had to take daily speech therapy class to be able to pronounce this letter. I just found out this speech impediment of the letter "R", also known as rhotacism , is very often seeing in kids who mouthbreathe.

Honestly I have every single fucking symptom of mouthbreathing, I wish my retard parents actually had the self awareness to realize my face was not growing properly. God damnit.

I look Identical to the mouthbreathing twin photo if I take a picture from that angle. IDENTICAL. Fuck this life
Butekyo breathing can help development in faces

Cope, it’s burgers and leafs who can’t say “t”s, Internet -> “innernet”

That's not what we were talking about, completely different sound
No, it’s not. Only people from east London miss the t like that, most Americans won’t say the t

No I’m aware the phonetics of the t in internet and British are different for people who miss it, but it’s not for those who pronounce both. It’s the same movement for me and I speak in RP mixed with south west English. It’s the mixing of the t with the surrounding letters which makes the decision on when it’s pronounced, but if it is it’s the same

No you clearly don't get it at all
In standard english "th" represents the phonemes /θ/ and /ð/ and "t" represents /t/. They are competely different sounds and have nothing to do with each other

Yes I know that but the t is the same in British as it is in Internet? You are misunderstanding me not vice versa.

So like I said exactly, it’s a difference in accent not phonetics.
I meant just say
“Int” or “Brit” , same t my dude

Yes it's the same phoneme but the realization differs, in american english the "nt" in internet is a nasalized flap (can't write IPA rn) and the t in british is realized as a voiced alveolar flap (or tap whatever)

He didn't refer to that sound in his first post though

This is literally what I said in my first response lol. But yes.

it’s only really the cockney accent that will miss the t which is far from the majority, but sometimes people will slack on it but wouldn’t if they were speaking formally.
