What I hate the most in "hands on" work is it requires too much constant attention span and energy just like the "quick time event" in video game where you have to push the right buttons at the right time or you screw it up.

Yeah , I might lack common sense because I spend most of my time alone. I hate following a step of instruction without knowing why that particular step needs to be done and why it makes sense. If I don't get the suffice explaination my brain will simply reject it and won't remember anything. My instructors think I'm a retard because it takes longer for me to memorize and execute those tasks than my lab cohort.
