I do this too since my iPhone cam makes me look like a deformed subhuman alien for some reason

Snap doesn’t invert / flip your pic and for some reason doesn’t show pores/wrinkles/hyperpigmentaiton as much.

Edit: NTs use snap yes more than incels to socialize, but to take selfies NT people use the fucking camera app

iphone cam stabilises image and does a lot of post pic rendering, snap just does what it says, takes a snapshot in the very millisecond u press the click button that's why images can come out shaky but they don't change while saving into ur photos app like native ios cam.

Mirror is what u look like irl apart from inverted image which doesn't matter since everyone has assymetrys and we look weird flipped only in our own perception. So yes u look like ur mirror in terms of coloring/light falling on face etc

I didn’t deflect he said pic mirror pic I said mirror. And in my older comment I said mirror might be inverted but it shows u your face in accutane proportions which a correctly inverted photo can’t

iPhone cam never mirrored image, I don’t use it because I fixate on the slight asymmetry of my eye size, I don’t notice that in mirrored pictures, and neither do people if they see the inverted pic or the standard pic, these fixations are ur own, and u can just flip the snap pic to see what is the best one, I do this when picking out my best pictures, when I flip them back to normal orientation it doesn’t make significant changes to the good pics which have good posture and eye size, it’s simply a personal preference to which style you like, if u used a true mirror all ur life you would prefer the standard orientation, and if someone flipped that picture u would go crazy, just like the user above posted every person has asymmetry you can do this with every picture, flip them and you won’t notice a difference but if u cut the picture in half and pasted each side together you would notice a wild distortion completely changing the persons look, when people look at you their mind automatically filters out minor issues and does it’s own photoshop, mirror and mirrored images are fine.
