Still though, you're being pedantic which itself is a sign of low IQ. Your body doesn't run off mass, it runs off energy. Excess is stored as fat which, you guessed it, is converted to energy when your body lacks it. So you need to control the amount of energy your body absorbs.

Objects can have the same mass and different energy contents. 100g of celery on top of your maintanence will not be converted intothe same amount of fat 100g of donuts would.
