I'm convinced that the reason so many incels are borderline suicidal (or outright suicidal) is because they've been brainwashed by popular media into thinking relationships are this wonderful thing that they're missing out on, sorta like how Paris is glorified as the 'city of lights,' only it turns out to be the city of piss and criminal migrants when people actually make it there for the first time. The reality is not the same as what people expect.

These naive kids watch all this garbage romance anime, TV fiction, etc, and it gives them a massively idealized version of a reality that frankly does not even exist. Real-world women are fat, usually not very attractive, smell, and, contrary to what the internet says, treat even their 'Chad' boyfriends (insofar as he sticks around long enough) like crap much of the time.

Imo, you guys are not missing out on as much as you think. I used to mock people who use AI as a substitute for girlfriends, but imo I can actually kinda see where they are coming from now. Mostly; it's still kinda sad ngl.
