I like books. Helps me learn new vocab. Shit you read online is mostly garbage imo. A lot of self help books are scammy though ngl


Reading certain books will increase your iq tbh. Especially reading sci-fi books because you have to really use your mind to imagine technology or fictional structures that dont exist and its hard to create a good image. A good exercise for the mind.

Self help books are cope yes.

But classic fiction books are fun to read and when talking to people, if you can make references to a lot of those books, you appear more intelligent to people especially since most of them can only talk about the shows that they watch on netflix or the videos that they watch on youtube.

But of course if you never looksmax, and never talk to people, then yes, books are not going to help you.

History books are also quite useful, if you can be so knowledgeable about history that you can easily make references in conversation, it also makes you sound more intelligent. Autobiographies are also a good idea.

Walter Isaacson (author of Steve Jobs) published a book about Leonardo Da Vinci in 2017, and in a few years there is going to be a movie about it and Leonardo Dicaprio will have the role of Leonardo Da Vinci.

And Lonely Planet guidebooks are extremely useful for travelling even if your goal is sex tourism.
