Incisor-chin distance

What is the average distance between lower incisors and the chin supposed to be? What is yours? Mine is 55 mm and I suspect that this is in the low range.

Average is probably low 50's imo, just basing this off of everyday observations

I just measured it for 3 random dudes in the streetz indeed the average is low 50s

The reason I am inquiring is because in this particular measurement recession should not matter at all. The distance should be identical no matter your jaw positioning.

As such the incisior-chin distance should be a more objective way of measuring chin size than measuring markers that are based on soft tissue, such as the distance between the lips and the chin.
