Flat hurts my shoulders but incline feels great. Plus more upper chest mogs. I’ve been doing incline only for the last few months and hit 225 for a 1rm earlier this week. Which do you prefer?

I heard that incline is better for aesthetics so I do it. IDGAF about some 1 rep max. 30 angle.

CALISTHENICS OR COPE.

But incline is better.

Barbell is mnore efficient but less symmetrical when it comes to building muscle.
MORE PRONE TO INJURY AND IF YOURE USING PROPER FORM THAN ITS NOT FAGGIT. WHAT U USE 20 ON ONE SIDE AND 10 ON THE OTHER.

Safer on shoulders and feels way better for me. Also like people are saying here upper chest mogs for aesthetics

Incline hits the upper chest, flat hits more lower chest. Most people don't have that good upper chest but they have an "overdeveloped" lower chest. The upper chest is important for aesthetics. That's what a lot of people say and that's why I switched from flat dumbbell bench press to incline dumbbell bench.

assuming ur talking about barbell bcuz honestly ur really confusing. If you have 2 arms and a symmetrical weight you can still lift more with one rather than the other, say 60% with ur right pec and 40% with the other which could lead to asymmetry. But because of how muscles work in conjunction its more efficient to do barbell.

"The barbell, though, allows for a higher one rep max, which can lead to better muscle and strength gains in the long run."

hmm is there anyway to simulate an incline or do i need to buy one?

Stick some plates under it at one side. If that’s stable then you’re good. If not there’s probably other ways to macgyver it that you could find online

interestingly old school strongmen/powercopers did almost exclusively very steep (70) incline pressing. got massive shoulders/upper chest and just benched in competion.

my flat bench is way better than incline, max for flat is 235, but for incline it's only 185 jfl

Your flat bench is 99% of the time going to be higher

Incline bench that you can use as a flat bench too costs maybe like 100 dollars. Not that much money assuming you actually keep training for years.
