I'am no expert by any means, but I found that doing both feels more optimal.

if I do only the flat variation my upper chest doesn't feel fatigued, but when I do both I feel like I work my entire chest pretty well

Yes intensity is important but it’s not the only thing that matters. Diet and exercise selection are very important

fuck the lower chest it doesnt even look good, incline mogs, spam upper chest and throw in some middle chest, if youre going for looks

Yeah I had literally no flat pressing movements in either my push or upper body days :feelswhy:
I would say that the best is Dumbell press 30°
