increased pull up counts but same weight?

i have been doing pull ups for past month, and it went from 0 proper ones, to now able to do 7 proper ones. the odd thing is, i am still the same weight, how does that make any sense? my muscle got stronger and increases but no weight gain?

it indicates that you got better at pull-ups and are now stronger. Mind-blowing stuff I know!

why no muscle gains though?
You may have recomped if newbie, it's hard to say without physique pics. But the blunt answer is you didn't eat enough.

Strength usually kicks in bedore muscle growthm U prob have built some muscle but it is unnoticeable
