1 the population is said to reach 1.6 billion by 2050 meaning a massive ass labour force should be built over that time and thanks to the advent of technology like the internet global trade should only get easier.

2 this is something india needs to do 1 reduce tarrif rate to 0. This only stumbles industries looking to grow.

2 increase immigration for more skilled workers ie the big brained types.

Unironically india would be first world if it did this wealth can only be built up by a labour force and a massive labour force combined with tech should push it further into the world heirachy.

I think 2060 is a bit soon. India will never be able to develop infrastructure like China, not will it be able to print debt like China.

I think more likely for India is u focus on connectivity and create legit megacities by 2060, and these will be rich, with good infrastructure, and a raised standard of living for the serfs (Moggerville - centred on NCR, likely will extend as far west as Jaipur and as far north as Ludhiana or Chandigarh; Moneyville - centred on Mumbai, which will still mainly be slums but they will be cleaner and more efficient and extend out on a corridor to Pune and along to Ahmedabad, and Incelnagar - basically a big corridor from Bangalore to Hyderabad).

These 3 will have comparable levels of development to places like Jo'burg or greater Guangzhou, or like Seoul or Taipei in early 80s.

You will see more development on other cities, particularly Chennai, and probably more migration of Aryans there which will hurt it's competitiveness because the local high IQ Dravidian will start roping, but the growth will all come from these 3 megacity corridors.

The rest of India will largely remain unchanged.

Culturally India will change, people will realise working all day after studymaxxing for an arranged wife who will cheat on u with Chadpreet is a waste, so more of India will develop the Punjabi culture of looksmaxxing, gymcelling, and foodmaxxing.

It depends I think parts of India will be comparable to something like the USA and China but most of the country will still be below standards for a country. Some parts already in India are pretty well developed and clean but it’s gonna take decades for India to potentially reach first world status and it may never truly reach it for a while
