Has anyone here from Germany or EU ordered from Indiamart? If so, have you had any trouble with customs. I just got a call from them but didn’t answer it

I've had shit tons of issues, lost like 200+ EUR to customs seizures from IndiaMART. Orders coming from India are most likely always treated with caution in 90% of the EU countries. Like a month ago, France had weak customs so the packages got through there.

They also have no refund policy, so if you get seized or your package gets lost - ur fault.

Literally only one of my packages got through due to sheer luck, the curry even labeled the package as "Accutane" and this shit still got through somehow

In your positions what I would do is look for a country in the EU that has easier customs system. I don't know which is easiest, you'll have to do your own research. Have your order shipped to a parcel forwarding company in that easier country and then have the parcel shipped domestically from that EU country to your country. There are also subreddits for this. People will allow you to ship your order to their address and then ship it to you for price

if it gets seized don't start blaming indiamart and calling it a scam because a lot of boomers and normies like to do that. blame your customs system. customs in strict countries is what gives indiamart such a bad rep. dudes get their shit seized and then call indiamart scammers

Also if your shit get seized highly suggest finding a new address to ship your future parcels to because your old address might be flagged and they hold your future packages for further investigations
