Heard this Indian Female saying that the reason why High caste have whiter skin is because they didnt have to work in the sun, and not because higher caste are more indo aryan and lower caste is darvidian

In the Victorian era the rich would make their faces pale with makeup and also apparently somehow faked varicose veins as well to distinguish themselves from the peasant workers.

It’s more due to less AASI than higher steppe . Main part of the genome is IVC and those were olive / light brown. There is also a concerted sexual selection towards lighter skin females and darker skin males in ucs, dk if it happened among the lower castes
