I avoided all the warnings all over the internet, thinking I am not the unlucky 10% but guess what, I was wrong.
I started fin in January 2020, I was maybe NW2, with some thinning around temples. I went to a dermatologist who recommended topical fin and min combo that you can easily get in India.
When I was using it in 2020, I observed my hair volume increased and looked better in general but no drastic improvement which could be because I was not balding in an obvious way anyway.
2020 was an interesting year as due to covid I moved back to my hometown and was living with my parents. I had 0 sex that year.
2021, I moved out and started living alone again. Started hooking up but I could not get my D to work. I was just 26 then, it had never happened to me before so it was a surprise. Immediately I could not pin point why it is. I thought maybe it is stress or maybe I am out of practice.
Then I tried hooking up with another guy. Still couldn’t make it work. The guy asked if I am on anti depressant or taking any medicines, which is when it clicked me. I am taking fin topically for 1 year now twice a day and it is very much possible that my ED is caused by it.
I immediately stopped it cold turkey.
3 months later, I got a boyfriend. I was very clear with him which he understood. But also, within 3 months I could see some improvement but nothing even close to getting full erection.
These are the things I did the next 6 months that brought my erection back to 100%
I am getting some hair sheds, but I can live with that than living without my dick.
I am writing this post today to let newcomers know that even topical fin has same effect on sexual health as oral. Hope you dont fall within the unlucky 10%.
