When I was growing up there was an Indian family living across the street. I would play basketball with their son and there was another Black kid we would play with too.

My family was Turkish and looks white so the Indian mom would always suck up to my mom saying your son is so handsome, blue eyes, etc. It was so cringe.

When the Indian kid had a birthday they invited me but wouldn't invite the black guy, My mom was like wtf is this they both look the same skin color how can they be racist JFL.

Indians are racist despite being dark skinned themselves.

If so I assume it's a brahmin thing, ie curries worship light skin because hindu religion tells them dalit caste are dark skinned.

Anti black racism is world wide but yes they do worship lightskin
