I liked skateboarding but I could never do it with anyone else because they are all wannabe bad boy tony hawks underground characters. They would purposefully go to places that were guarded and just grind all over the ledges with their shitty poorly practiced 1 foot high ollies and try and destroy everything while they drank and smoked weed. When i would point out that maybe they should go somewhere they could skate without being afraid of having some security guard attack them they would always say something like “Fuck that man, i dont care about any security guards!!! Fuck the system man, i do what I want!”

anyways theres all kinds of cool stuff you can do and new stuff to learn although its expensive if you do it regularly because you always need a new board every month or two and new wheels. Not good if you are poor and ugly like me
