infection from pinning?

103.8F fever, I've had a itchy throat all day. I have zero idea if its from pinning or not. I would assume not considering i use handsantizer every time before, disinfect the rubber stop before every time, the site every time.

Should I sleep and just drink water?

I have also had this bruise from pinning thats lasted a little over a week but its not red and not swelling.
