INJECTING, important question

I have a very important question about injecting anything
Lets say i have a 1ml syringe and want to inject at the 10th mark, so do i fill up the syringe all the way up to the 10th mark? Because my syringe also has some space below the 0 unit mark, does the space below 0 units have to be filled? I dont know how to explain this please help

but when i pull liquid into it the space gets filled with it, so i have it filled 0-10th mark but also the space below

so yea basiclyy it doesnt affect the 10iu or whatever its just so air can come out mesure your nirmal 10 iu and then sprinclkw a little so that air comes out w thge air a bit of the liqwuid comes out too thats why the small thing to kniow how much is coming out w the air so yea dosage it nirmal leave the thing alone
