Input on upping accutane dosage

Been on 20mg accutane since the start of March (~5 months) and its been working wonders, but for the past few weeks I’ve been getting small red bumps around my mouth occasionally which is an area i never experienced breakouts even when my acne was worse. They never form a true whitehead and fade in a day or two, but its annoying nonetheless when i always have one or two spots and the rest of my face is clear. My derm just told me i can up my dosage to 30mg if wanted, and I’m hoping someone can lmk if this would help these little flare ups or if this would make my skin worse and be unnecessarily harsh. If there are other things you think might help clear this pls lmk (and no its not from shaving)

Do 40mg for atleast 6 months than taper down to 20 mg then after a year do 5-10 mg every day for life

I think its mostly dependent on weight and the biggest factor to long term results is reaching the required cumulative dose (~150-220 mg/kg), at least thats what I’ve been told

Outdated Jew science from drs who don’t want you to ascend ,
There’s no total dosage that will nuke your sebaceous glands for life if you stop even if it takes years or isn’t as pronounced acne will almost certainly be produceable

Anecdote but I’ve been on accutane since 2018 ,came off twice and under 8 months had bad breakouts that only went away after resuming accutane

Just take glutathione (injectable) or NAC powder and probably tudca and you’ll be fine

There’s no total dosage that will nuke your sebaceous glands for life if you stop even if it takes years or isn’t as pronounced acne will almost certainly be produceable

Literally as bad as the acne YouTubers youve probably seen

I take
Accutane 5-10 mg eod when I was natty now I just take 20 mg Ed
1mg dutasteride ed NAC (maybe 700 mg) ,tudca ,glutathione (200mg Ed) ,10 mg ghkcu ,retin a, red light blue light ,infadolan which is just a Vaseline-like moisturiser at night after retin a after regular moisturiser to keep skin hydrated

If you shed on fin or duta you’re basically just getting that out of the way then allowing yourself to have more hair down the line (idek if that’s true but I had no shedding ) I refuse to live life with acne or bald so I’d do anything even if I do have post finasteride syndrome

Just get Viagra which is ideal anyway because it’ll be at its biggest when you need it to be

All good points, hair is life. guess shedding is basically same principle as purging on accutane
