Keep in mind genio stretches the hyoid bone and moves it forward which increase airway space.

I breathe so much better after my 13.5mm genio as well.

Unless you're a giga recessed birdcel then bimax is mostly cope. It's more of a functional surgery than an aesthetic one.

Usually in trimax that's genio that actually does the heavy lifting regarding forward growth.

I guess people will never learn. Less competition I guess...


Most people should not consider any kind of surgeries before spending at least 6 months browsing this forum and learning about the basics of lookism.

can i pm you idk whether to get bimax with genio or get implants like this dude. I'm not giga recessed but my downward growth of both maxilla and mandible inclines me to get bimax with genio for aesthetic reasons

you cant see the full upper half of his face, but its left behind. Its not ideal but "needing surgery" is his choice.

i cant say for forehead/brow bone 100% because I cant see it, but im assuming its recessed because the whole lower part of his face is recessed.

but infras would def help him with his brutal eyebags

The aesthetic improvements in a bimax come from the CCW and the Lefort 1 advancement upturning the nose.
And you only really benefit from these if your specific case needs it, if your nose is already upturned or your occlusal plane is flat then there’s no point in getting it (for aesthetic reasons).
There’s also other reasons to get BIMAX but it’s always case specific, an average looking guy with no malocclusion or skeletal deficiency would not benefit from a BIMAX, it’s a surgery you only get when you actually need it.

Though the guy you posted is a complete retard, he’s recessed to hell and back with a subhuman overbite he could’ve got a large Bimax advancement which would’ve lead to an aesthetic result.

Look at this case for example, the BSSO advancement is very large and the genioplasty is used to add height to the chin.

Its a bit uncanny bit looks good still and great ascencion; will stil ldevelop breathing rpoblems with age and the genio will keep him from fixing his problem then

Good results but he's a retard for not fixing his overbite since his jaw is still recessed which is wasted potential. You can tell by the pic that this is more visible in motion since it's obviously cherrypicked.
