I do not think so. If you're the right guy for a genioplasty it corrects any deep mentolabial fold, which is what the man in the photos of OP had. He had a deep mentolabial fold. To get the same upgrade you have to have this distinct failo of a mentolabial fold. So no celebrations unless you think you too have a mentolabial fold.

@sanityyy18 your lower jaw is not only recessed but also downgrown. As simulated in the morph above, a genio only wouldn't cut it ; you'll probably need a bimax/trimax to really fix the flaw. If your ramus/gonial angle is bad, complementary jaw angle implants could finish normalizing your lower jaw.

no craniofacial surgery you can get really does
the only thing you can do is try to hide it with gonion implants

it has very little effect on the gonial angle, an average of about 2 degrees change

i guess you can shave the lower part of the chin to mimic better growth but that doesnt change the main issue (steep gonial angle)
