You know what’s funny, people are always like “you’re in different stages of life” like what world are these people living in? Are they time travelers from the 1950s? How do you mean different stages of life; everyone stays to live at home with their patents till their 30+, they don’t have jobs in this shit market, can’t really take care of themselves, if they are lucky they are able to even drive. Everyone is practically stuck in the high school stage of life till they’re 30 nowadays. They have no mental maturity at all. They are anxious and have never grown up.

But noooo, an age gap of a few years is really problematic because supposedly you’re in “a different stage in life”, sure.

Btw I don’t mean the not growing up thing as an insult even, Gen Z got dealt a bad hand. I’m just saying as a result they never actually advance in their life but are stuck. If anything maybe being in a relationship and experiencing that and learning from it would be helpful but instead people get paranoid about some bs like being a few years older.

I will also share a personal story, but I liked this girl who was about ten years younger than me and she didn’t care at all. And we didn’t look strange together and it didn’t feel like we were in some mythical “different stages of life”. No, she wasn’t 14, she was out of high school. But yeah, in my opinion it’s stupid to care about what some dude on tt in all his wisdom has decided that is permissible or not.
