You tell me if this is a good idea or a bad idea.
I Was talking to my sister about my grandparents and she dropped some major black pills that they committed on their daughters.
First of all, apparently they never once told any of their daughters that they were pretty. And given what all my cousins look like all my aunts + my mom were definitely pretty. Typical white anglo Saxon protestant family, pretty young blond/brunette white girls. They did this intentionally to make sure they didn't get big heads.
Compare that to today where every girl ever gets constantly barraged with validation on social media/etc.
Second of all, whenever they did anything wrong they'd tell them they're going straight to hell. Like brutal verbal abuse with the threat of hell.
They all turned out pretty good, long lasting marriages although there's some things I know were swept under the rug.
