Yeah there's a difference. Crack is freebase meaning it must be smoked, whilst cocaine is the HCL salt, so it's more efficient to snort it. Snorting crack won't get you high.

Your can mix baking soda, crack etc. to cocaine, but you'll lose your reputation if your stuff is total shit. In drug dealing, I'd assume it's all about reputation if you want to make sales.
