Instagram vs tiktok algorithm

I noticed the Instagrams algorithm is so much better than the tiktok one, idk why but instagram just knows what I look for every time its crazy, and if i wanna switch my whole feed to food stuff on instagram its gonna take 10 scrolls whereas for TikTok its gonna take 150 scrolls + 10 searches to make the algorithm understand you don’t want minecraft verity asmr videos anymore. Has anyone experienced the same stuff
