Botox info & its mechanism for working:
1.Botox
2.Saline
3.Slins Here
4.Alcohol prep pads here
5.Lidocain cream (optional) here
6.Fake cigs for aura (very optional) here

Needs & Optional:
what Botox is:
"Botox, or botulinum toxin, is a neurotoxic protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. In controlled, purified forms, it is used safely in medicine and cosmetics. Botox works by blocking nerve signals to muscles, preventing them from contracting, which temporarily relaxes the targeted muscles.". here is the source for this info Sayori is goated

The mechanism:
"The toxin’s mechanism of action involves a multi-step process: recognition, binding, and catalysis, ultimately blocking neurotransmitter release by cleaving proteins like SNAP-25, VAMP, and syntaxin. This disruption in synaptic vesicle fusion causes paralysis, typically in peripheral neurons.". If you want to read up the study here it is Here cutie

How to reconstitute Botox:
Dosing:
For every 100 iu of Botox you want at least 1ml of saline
example, 200 iu of Botox is mixed with 2ml of saline

Good video demonstrating how to reconstitute the Botox:

Introduction to some basic anatomy for Botox:
Layers of the skin:
The skin consists of the epidermis and the dermis; the dermis is really fibrosis and hard to puncture
1775095520659

Anatomy of the nose for our needs:
The nose consists of many muscles and the ones we want to target for a smaller nose are these two the depressor septi nasi or the dilator naris anterior
1775095897833

Dilator naris:
Adding Botox to this muscle refines the nose tip

Alar Nasalis:
Adding Botox to this muscle reduces nostril width

What to look for while doing the procedure:
When injecting you will encounter a lot of resistance at the dermis as it is fibrosis.
So once that resistance is gone it means you have passed the dermis into the subcutaneous layer which is made up of fat. This layer is smoothing sailing the needle just glides with zero resistance. So, once you are in the subcutaneous layer expect to feel the slightest bit of resistance hitting the muscle. Once you feel the resistance push less than a millimeter in and inject your three iu. You may get a white bump that is fine and dandy. It will go away very quickly in around an hour.

How to perform the procedure step by step:

Step 1: Reconstitute your vial with a 1:1 ratio and pull out a total of 6iu (If you reconstituted with a 1:1 ratio that would be 6 units on your syringe)

Step 2: Clean up the area with 2 alcohol pads one for each side, if lidocaine cream was applied wipe with a tissue first then proceed with the alcohol pads

Step 3: Inject 3iu on each side into the muscle of your choice I recommend staying within the black circle I drew above

Step 4: Lastly, clean up with a tissue and then proceed with the alcohol wipes (Do this with care as we don't want the solution to migrate)

Good video demonstrating the procedure:

Post op after care:
Here is a list below on what not to do:

  • Do not touch your nose with aggression
  • Do not do anything that raises your body heat within 3 days post op
  • Be careful sleeping on your side
  • Do not do hard facial expressions that activate the muscles you botoxed

example, 200 iu of Botox is mixed with 2ml of saline

Good video demonstrating how to reconstitute the Botox:

Introduction to some basic anatomy for Botox:
Layers of the skin:
The skin consists of the epidermis and the dermis; the dermis is really fibrosis and hard to puncture
View attachment 4855347

Anatomy of the nose for our needs:
The nose consists of many muscles and the ones we want to target for a smaller nose are these two the depressor septi nasi or the dilator naris anterior
View attachment 4855348
