Instant gratification isn't always a bad thing

People talk about "instant gratification" as if it's the devil. I don't think it's bad at all when in moderation.

Focusing on only the future will only cause you to miss out on life. At reasonable times, instant gratification will help you live in the present and even appreciate small pleasures. Life isn't all about delayed rewards, instant gratification is the main thing that protect you from burnout.
