with oral supplements, you're only getting around 25% of the actual supplement before your gut rapes it. i have access to a pharmacy and am able to get high quality usa made ingredients at wholeslae like:
b12, bcomplex, biotin, coq10, l-carnatine, glutathione, vitamin C, toradol, ETC blah blah

is it worth incorporating a lot of these in my weekly routines for various reasons but ultimately just to be healthy and look good? ( max out my health indicators )

i also read something once that IM shots arent good for you jfl like that i should be getting all of these through a healthy diet but i dont see how extra would hurt

any thoughts?

Most are dosed at high levels anyway cause of this

Really no point why you’d do anything if the oral supplements already help. I’m also taking oral supplements like this just for nutrition cuz my nutrition overall is kinda ass but I really don’t know why you’d ever ever consider IM and bypassing your liver, kidneys, gut, etc. What you’re doing rn should be good brother, wish the best for you.

well why ist bypassing all that stuff bad? id argue its better cuz you're getting like 80% of it compared to 20%

cuz your body NEEDS to process everything. If not it's super fucking easy to kill yourself and get sick and makes no logical sense because why would you even inject vitamins IM

whats your thoughts on IVs? for either sick ppl or maybe ppl who are looking to do NAD IVs

Ohh you’re talking about NAD+? I’m pretty sure they just inject that IM now and you can buy it off peptide websites. I don’t think there’s any benefit to doing it IV and I don’t really have a lot of experience on that matter but what I do know is that IV circulates and leaves significantly faster than IM so it has less time to do the work.

not in my original question but i am curious about NAD+ in the context of both IV and IM, since IV absorption rate is 100%, wouldnt that be better?

Absorption rate of IM is roughly 95% and IV is really not better NAD+ wise because it enters and exits extremely fast while NAD+ injected IM is a sustained release that stays in the body for significantly longer compared to IV

that’s kinda misunderstanding how nad+ actually works. IV clearing from the blood fast doesn’t mean it’s ineffective, it usually means rapid tissue uptake and metabolism. the higher peak you get with IV creates a much stronger concentration gradient, which is what actually drives nad+ into cells and mitochondria

IM absorbs well too, but the peak is way lower so the uptake signal is weaker. something “staying in the bloodstream longer” doesn’t automatically mean better intracellular nad+ levels. in real world use IV produces stronger acute effects, IM is just slower and smoother not superior

But also logically speaking if you want a more spread out and guaranteed absorption IM is logically better for that sustained release, that’s just my view on it. Cuz thinking about all the places that might need the NAD+ and can’t get it because of how fast it’s absorbed IV wise is kinda what I mean, but I may be wrong. Either way, IM is more convenient and easier to do and even in clinical tries and many medicines, they administer it IM instead of IV particularly for that sustained release
