I've been diagnosed with breathing problems and am approved by insurance with an ENT for septoplasty and turbinate reduction. Is it possible to have another cosmetic surgeon to perform these and include a rhino, and only pay out of pocket for the rhino? I'd like to get these surgeries done for health reason, but also planned on a revision rhino at some point, and do not want to endure 2 recoveries.

Yes, things like this are fairly common. The insurance will pay for the septoplasty and operating theatre time and you'd need to ask the surgeon separately if he'd do the rhino at the same time.

The main restriction is that insurance companies will only have a select pool of surgeons they'll work with and these surgeons probably wont specialise in rhinoplasty.
