@wewuzaryans134 you would’ve served with Grenadier Regiment “Count Kleist von Nollendorf” (1st West Prussian) No. 6 in the 10th Infantry Division
Born in 1896, you’d be conscripted into service in August-November 1915 as a member of the Class of 1916. You’d likely arrive at the front in March-June of 1916. The 10th division was stationed along the Meuse and Moselle rivers (at the southern edge of the Western front across from the French, near Verdun, the Argonne forest, and St. Mihiel) from September 1914 until October 1916 when it was transferred to the V army corps reserve at Verdun.
From December 15-16, 1916, the 10th division (including the 6th Grenadier Regiment) would fight at the Battles of Louvemont and Bezonvaux during the final phase of the Battle of Verdun. More information can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Verdun

It’s most likely you would’ve been taken prisoner during the fighting at Verdun in December

@qxdr

you would’ve served with Grenadier Regiment “Crown Prince” (1st East Prussian) No. 1 in the 1st Infantry Division.
Born in 1896, you’d be conscripted into service in August-November 1915 as a member of the Class of 1916. You’d likely arrive at the front in March-June of 1916.
For our purposes, we’ll say you were conscripted in August 1915 (as Prussian recruits were often called up earlier) and arrived at the front in March 1916.

Picture of u in training:

From March to April, ur in the army reverse at Verdun, waiting until ur unit is called up to reinforce the frontline.

On April 20, under heavy rain, ur unit moves up to the frontline.
What u might see as u move up into the trenches:

No man’s land:

From april 20 to june 8, ur unit is engaged in fighting around the Caillette forest, british gorge, the village of vaux and the fort.
Read more here:

It is extremely likely you would be either killed or wounded in the may-June fighting at vaux

@alexias

Likely wouldve joined the 87th reserve infantry regiment, 41st reserve infantry brigade, 21st reserve division in the xviii reserve korps

You wouldve been landwehr ban I so received a brief refresher training (3 weeks max) and then got deployed to the front (likely September, October at the latest)

Theres rly not much information abt the 21st reserve division available but it looks like they were stationed in champagne from september 1914 onward

Theres a mention of an assault at servon september 1914
And then fighting at hill 91 in february 1915, where there seems to be higher casualty rates
And then more fighting in may 1915 at Ville sur tourbe

If u made it thru these battles unscathed u likely wouldve met ur end at the second battle of champagne in september-October 1915
