Interesting Eppley post on bone cement as an alternative to traditional implants

I've seen this asked here multiple times, so it is worth posting. Some people ask why we don't use bone cement/bone grafts as a more "natural" alternative to artificial implant materials. Eppley demonstrates it in the following Instagram post. The problem is that you have to open up an incision on the face, and it's hard to insert any material that isn't already hard. The result is a lumpy, irregular and "unnatural" shape.
