so now its making me think, if all the studies done on attraction correlating with high iq, if their methodologies were a bit screwed and didnt account for things.
now obviously, this piece of text is cope on this studies part, atleast when comparing the highest performers to the worst performers in corporate america, because they would have the most obvious variance regardless of smv/race and the asians would outperform the blacks and even some of the good looking whites to hard regardless of attraction. but to what extent do these biases take control, and can be used as leverage if youre just an average performer? how much do they debilitate you if ur ethnic?
this is why some of these studies regarding IQ are so shitty though, because why the fuck didnt they control for these and just use obvious controllable metrics like punctuality on assignments, assignment quality, and probably adjust for the type of work they do and select for the high skilled yet busy type of labor that relies on abstract reasoning(like coding). or even if u dont want to use coding because that could be considered a self-fulfilling prophecy, a job that uses critical thinking skills in a different way, like client consultation and management.
