The situation is absolutely identical.
The theory that chads are always with stacy, and vice versa, does not work in 99% of cases. The reasons are unknown, although there are "true looksmatches".
CONCLUSION: For the most part, appearance probably doesn't have that much of an impact. But note that each of them has something to compensate (especially in the case of Stacy's husbands/boyfriends), and usually it's status, money, and other merits (I can't say anything about “Unknown”). There is a suggestion that the level of attractiveness indicates the level of attractiveness of the partner. Obviously, they all chose their partners themselves, and they certainly had a wide choice. But I really can't explain some of them (Elias and Doutzen, for example).
But this can also be a survivor bias: we judge only by known examples, or unconsciously see only convenient cases. Obviously, a handsome guy/girl has a much better chance than an ordinary/ugly one with the same other characteristics.
The purpose of this thread was to attempt to refute the myth that “Chad and Stacy are always together.”
