Invisalign as orthodontic method for jaw surgery?

Has anyone asked if Invisalign is an acceptable substitute to braces for jaw surgery?

As usual I’m getting brutal ghosting from local orthodontists just like I got brutal ghosting for a local CT scan and will have to travel 12 hours round trip for it.

I know of people who have done it. Both for the before and the after. Idk if it has any downside for jaw surgery.
