This only works if your gums are pulled in.
If your molar teeth are wide and then you have teeth pulled inwards or not as wide as them, there is potential for expansion.

You can see more transformation on reddit r/Invisalign.

Look at one of recent transformation by my dentist with Invisalign + Composite Bonding.
Composite Bonding can further emphasise a wider palate by increasing lateral density of back teeth so they show up more clearly when you smile.

They already have a wide palate. Its just that the teeth are retruded.

Yeah you’re right. That’s why I wrote there is a catch.
This is not really a ‘real’ expansion as you can’t change molar position much with Invisalign.

But Invisalign does help to reach your full potential if you have teeth with pulled in gums.
The teeth can come out with the gums.

Can someone blackpill me and org in general on if braces can move anything but teeth? I am talking after puberty of course. Cases of people getting better lower thirds after braces seem to be because of extruded teeth fixing overbites or deep bites and hence opening up the bite and making theh lower third taller

what about if the teeth are retroclined aswell?

would need a skeletal expansion device both for maxilla and mandibular idk how much movement you can get post puberty but I think some should be possible until late 20s.

Sutures close at 60-80. But the rest of the area starts hardening from 12 till mid 20's. You could expand at any age as long as sutures are open but the older the more traumatic the experience, higher risk of relapse, teeth tilting, teeth resorption etc.
