invisalign pushing teeth back

am I about to get BTFO'd?
my dentist said invisalign will push my lower teeth back which seems like it would make my face recessed unless im misunderstanding

my upper teeth fully cover my lower teeth
maxilla is properly developed, mandible is properly developed, however it is recessed
