The following things aren't IOIs and you are accused of being schizophrenic and hallucinating for experiencing them

-Covering her face in shame after someone mentioning that she cant be left alone with me.

-Seeking closeness by trying to walk next to me in a group setting, then exaggerating feeling tired and sad and lowering her head, waiting for me to touch her somehow. When i put my arm against her head, GRABBING my arm and pressing it against her jacket.

-Giggling at my jokes no matter how unfunny.

-Telling me traumatic stories from her life.

-Putting her head on my shoulder

-Finding an excuse to run away from the group, having her friend stand there and wait for me to chase her down. Once shes alone with me, suddenly become a lot more open and smiling all over when we make eye contact.


ALL OF THESE THINGS were apparently just in my fucking head and she clearly doesn't fucking like me apparently. Fuck soyiciety and specifically fuck AI.

Can relate, there was this girl i was friends with like 3 years ago, we were really cool, and inside our friend group EVERYONE thought we had chemistry, we went out together alone, texted a lot, she always sat with me on the hangouts, trauma dumped on me and told me fucked up stories and so did i to her, she even came to my house multiple times and we watched movies while being in the same bed, slept together (no sex or kissing but cuddling and shit)

I confessed to her one day and she kind of thought about it but told me it was a bad idea because multiple guys in our friend group liked her and would put us in an awkward position, i knew that was bullshit but i didn't put more effort into convincing her, i just stopped talking to her immediately after that and left the friend group, before that i asked her if she liked me back as well and told her that i thought those were IOIs and she told me that she wasn't sure

This type of behavior makes sense to me if shes a non virgin and has been heart broken badly so even if she likes someone somewhat she can't fully commit like that since her pair bonding is messed up from the pain. Idk...
