IPD is overrated

I don’t really think IPD matters much, as long as your eye width-to-height ratio, nose width, mouth width, and midface length are all balanced — for example, with Somerhalder it doesn’t look like his eyes are too close together, but with Gosling it is very noticeable because his midface is longer and his eye width-to-height ratio isn’t ideal. Before you think about doing a cheekbone bonemash, make sure your ESR is in the optimal range, because that matters more than small differences in IPD. Programs like FaceIQLabs completely overrate IPD — they act like Ian Somerhalder has below-average facial harmony just because of his eye distance, which makes no sense.
